Association on Mental Retardation] AAMR is the oldest and largest
interdisciplinary organization of professionals (and others) concerned
about retardation and related disabilities. Over 9,500 members in the
U.S. and 55 other countries have chosen AAMR as their association.

Disability Association] mission is to provide a quality information
network to meet the informational needs of people with diverse disabilities,
their care providers and support professionals; promote disability culture
and awareness in the world; provide forums for creating and refining
social policy while working to bring increased quality of life and greater
access to freedom to all people regardless of disability.

[National
Academy of Child Development] an international organization of parents
and professionals dedicated to helping children and adults reach their
full potential.

Center on Outcomes Research] NCOR is designed to use the national
values of independence, productivity, integration, inclusion, personal
responsibility, self-determination, and choice to examine the status
of people with disabilities throughout their everyday lives.

Down Syndrome Society] NDSS was established to increase public awareness,

Easter Seal Society] Easter Seals is a nationwide network of 109
affiliate societies serving 50 states, the District of Columbia and
Puerto Rico.

The National Association of Protection and Advocacy Systems, Inc. (NAPAS)
