Department of Justice ADA home page - The ADA gives the Department of Justice (DOJ) authority to issue regulations for title II and III of the ADA and to provide technical assistance and enforcement. ADA: the Law and Its Impact on Post-Secondary Education - The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) is the civil rights guarantee for persons with disabilities in the United States. It provides protection from discrimination for individuals on the basis of disability. The ADA extends civil rights protections for people with disabilities to employment in the public and private sectors, transportation, public accomodations, services provided by state and local government, and telecommunication relay services.

U.S. Architectural and Barriers Compliance Board - the World Wide Web site of the U.S. Access Board, also known as the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board. The Board, created in 1973, has served the nation as the only independent federal agency whose primary mission is accessibility for people with disabilities.
