[Aging
with a Disability - The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center]
(RRTC) is funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation
Research (NIDRR), a part of the U.S. Department of Education. RRTC conducts
rehabilitation research, trains others about findings, and provides
information to consumers and professionals.
[Center
for Research on Women with Disabilities] - The Center for Research
on Women with Disabilities (CROWD) is a research center that focuses
on issues related to health, aging,civil rights, abuse, and independent
living. CROWD's purpose is to promote, develop, and disseminate information
to expand the life choices of women with disabilities so that they may
fully participate in community life. More specifically, researchers
develop and evaluate models for interventions to address specific problems
effecting women with disabilities.
[COACH]
is a project that provides free information about training programs
that teach people with disabilities how to use public transportation,
and training programs that teach transit providers how to best serve
their passengers with disabilities.

- Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities] - advocates on behalf
of people with physical and mental disabilities and their families -
to ensure self-determination, independence, empowerment, integration,
inclusion; enhance civil rights and quality of life; reflect the values
of the ADA. Lots of links to other disability organizations.

- Cornucopia of Disability Information] - speaks for itself. It
has disability information in the areas of education, directories, databases,
statistics, government documents, computer access, legal, publications,

announcements.

Technology] - This site is devoted to sharing information that is
pertinent to persons with disabilities and those professionals who provide
services. Here you will find a comprehensive list of links, art, information,
a pen pal list, ALS directory and software.

- Employment Support Institute] - helps make decisions about employment
options and policies affecting people with disabilities. Very user friendly;
personal; links to other web sites.

Village,] a site offering a vast array of information and resources
including parent-to-parent connections, to families of children with
disabilities.

Access] - the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing
Office, has searchable databases to find government information, federal
bulletin boards, Federal Register, Congressional Record, Congressional
bills, United States Code, Economic Indicators, General Accounting Office
